If you read any of my beginning Hashimotos story on the post below you will eventually learn why I am on a new anti-inflammatory diet. For now I don't have time to go into detail, but I am with a Hashimoto's specialist now who is going to help me get my life back in check and be able to live.
A book they recommended is "Why do I still have thyroid symptoms?"
I say "live" because right now what I am experiencing is not living.
It is
painful,
depressing,
stressful
and terrifying to say the least.
I am hoping to see a lot of improvement in the next 6 months hopefully. I am going to have 2 appointments a week in that time period! (some by phone)
They say they've had a ton of success with patients just like me having extreme improvement. I thought I was a lost cause, so this is good. I had a very large blood test done with them- (You see, just because you are diagnosed with Hashimoto's doesn't mean everything is treated one way- Yours may need to be treated different from someone else's with the same issue)

With my blood results they indicated that I have "Hashimoto's autoimmune reactive. I had no idea there were different "types" of Hashimoto's.
Anyways, they put everyone on this lovely Anti-Inflammatory diet.
After the allergy test, I think they start to slowly put you back on some things.
This is my new Not to eat list... and what I can :)
Before I get on this diet I have to complete 3 new tests this week..
