I decided to eat something healthy for lunch today. I knew my kids would love it too.
Easy Peasy as well. I sliced up some of our favorite veggies
Broccoli
Carrots
Jicama
Cucumber
Celery
and I threw in a can of olives
I made two dips
Buttermilk Ranch
1/4 c Daisy Sour Cream
1/8 c Mayo
1 c buttermilk
1 handful of fresh Parsley
Some shakes of S and P
1/2 t onion powder
1/2 t garlic
1 T lemon juice
1 T lemon juice
Hummus
1 can Garbanzo beans
1 1/2 T Tahini
1 1/2 T olive oil
3-5 T Lemon juice
S and P to taste
1/4 t Paprika
1/4-1/2 t garlic powder
1/4-1/2 t garlic powder
2 t Cumin
shake of cayenne
Throw them all in the blender and blend until it's not quite smooth- Leave some texture in there, it's the best!
Don't worry, I am not perfect, I downed some gluten free pretzels and "Nutella" (*Gluten free version is what you will need- not the regular kind) later for a treat...
