I have taste buds that crave and enjoy vinegarized foods. My favorite salad dressing was the Briann's vinigarette. But I can't have that now. Or really any other salad dressings for that matter.
I was messing around with a copycat recipe for Olive Garden salad dressing, which had a ton of things in it I can't have, and came up with a dressing that is tangy and very enjoyable. Gluten, Corn and Dairy free. (And healthier too)
The salad itself has brown rice, red beans, romaine lettuce, tomato, shredded carrots, olives, red onion and I threw in part of a hard boiled egg in there. You can really add whatever ingredients you have on hand though.
Tangy Salad dressing
1/2 cup Vegenaise
1/3 c Apple cider vinegar
1/4 t garlic pwdr
1/2 t onion pwdr
1/4 t salt
1/8 t pepper
1/2 t parsley
1/4 t basil
1 T daiya cheese *optional
1 1/2 T lemon juice
